YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Most contractors take five to seven days to do a shower remodel, but not with the Home Team at Window Depot of Youngstown.

"So the trim piece goes along the border in the perimeter. It joins it together, and creates a nice finish and a decorative look to it. You can even just add it on as an option if you want to dress up the shower in a little bit different way."

"This looks like real marble. We also have porcelain-looking walls as well. So, I mean, think about that. It looks like real marble," said Begalla. "This is all made of a crushed stone. A lot of companies use what's called acrylic. It's basically plastic. Does not have realistic grout lines, and it looks and feels like plastic. With this, it's a real crushed stone. You have the color through and through, beautiful and esthetically pleasing. We do have stuff that looks like porcelain as well, and you don't have to worry about the maintenance aspect of it with the grout lines."
Additionally, because the color is through and through, and unlike acrylic, Window Depot of Youngstown can come in and fix it if you nick or scratch it. The team will show up with a repair kit, fill it in, and sand it down so it looks like it never happened. And it is so easy to clean.

"We're going to actually have a safety bar on the back wall. We're going to be installing a seat over here as well. Now, with that seat, what's great is a lot of them are kind of these teak seats, said Begalla. "They're uncomfortable while ours actually have a padding and a cushion in them. And they fold up. So it's not impeding on the shower space when you're not using it. But that cushion just makes it so nice when you're sitting there being able to enjoy it."

"We use the same kind of stone base we're putting into our shower bases as well. Gives it a lot more strength and rigidity," said Begalla.
